Chris Lewis is the CEO and founder of Patton Island, LLC.
A Naval Academy graduate and retired Naval Officer, Chris began his career as a Naval Flight Officer and was stationed globally from Washington State to Lisbon, Portugal. His active duty career features Transition Team Leadership for a $2.1 billion base operations, maintenance, and testing contract. He was Deputy Director of Operations for an $11 billion high-hazard industrial facility; a strategic analyst for NATO’s Strategic Command; and led tri-site worldwide combat operations for a Chief of Naval Operations Special Project Unit.
Chris began his civilian career as partner and process improvement director for an independent commercial insurance brokerage, helping the firm achieve $34 million in gross annual sales and a successful sale of the company. Today, with his background in small business, military operations, training and acquisition, Chris has made it his mission to establish Patton Island as an integral resource in the military resource and supply chain.
At home, Chris is a dedicated community leader. He serves as the Mentor Coordinator for Lauderdale County Veterans Court; Advisory Board Member for a local children’s museum and is a member of the local planning commission. He is active with his church and the Knights of Columbus.
Chris Lewis holds a Bachelor’s degree from the United States Naval Academy; a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of West Florida; and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College, in addition to numerous professional certifications.
